Murray A. Snook, M.D.

Dr. Snook received his degree in medicine from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Texas in 1989.  He completed his Family Practice residency at Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1992.  Dr. Snook has been in practice in Georgetown since 1992 and resides here with his wife and 4 children.

Dr. Snook is board certified with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.  He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, and the Williamson County Medical Society.  He enjoys water sports, golf and fishing.

Richard E. Otto, M.D.

Dr. Otto received his degree in medicine from the University Of Texas Medical Branch School Of Medicine in Galveston, TX.  His residency training in Family Medicine was completed at Brackenridge and St. David's Hospital with the Austin Medical Education Program.  Dr. Otto is also a proud alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin where he completed his undergraduate degree and competed as a varsity member of the Men's Swimming Team.  

Dr. Otto is a board certified member of the American Association of Family Practice and is also a member of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, the Williamson County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association.  His scope of practice covers the classical focus of pediatrics to geriatrics, with a special emphasis on dermatology.  Dr. Otto is excited to be in the Georgetown Community, and he is striving to continue providing quality health care to the people of Central Texas.

Marc J. Wauson, PA-C

Marc joined FMC of Georgetown in August 2016. He received his Master’s in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical, Dallas Texas in 2007. Prior to coming to FMC, he worked as a family Practice PA in Granbury, Texas for 7 years.

Marc completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1994. He practiced as a Physical Therapist in San Antonio for 12 years with the Methodist Healthcare System previous to becoming a PA.

Marc is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society. He sees patients from pediatrics to geriatrics with a special interest in Diabetes and Men’s Health. Marc grew up in the Temple/Troy, Texas area. He is married and enjoys spending his spare time playing tennis and watching his 3 grandchildren play sports.

Emily S. Gonzalez, PA-C

Emily recently joined our clinic in April 2021. She was born and raised in Laredo, Texas and then completed her undergraduate degree in biomedical science with a minor in neuroscience from Texas A&M University in College, Station Texas. She then worked as a medical scribe for an orthopedic group before completing her master's in physician assistant studies at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2020. She is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. Emily's focus is women's health along with management of a variety of chronic conditions. In her spare time, she loves traveling, spending time with her family, friends and her labrador retriever, Dawson.

Cody H. Haines, APRN-CNP

Cody joined Family Medical Center in January 2022. He graduated with his Bachelors of Nursing at Stephen F. Austin in 2015. Cody is a native Georgetown resident and after graduating he returned to Austin, Texas where he worked as an intensive care registered nurse for 7 years prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Cody obtained his Masters of Science at the University of Texas at Arlington in August 2021.
