Marc J. Wauson, PA-C
Marc joined FMC of Georgetown in August 2016. He received his Master’s in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical, Dallas Texas in 2007. Prior to coming to FMC, he worked as a family Practice PA in Granbury, Texas for 7 years.
Marc completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1994. He practiced as a Physical Therapist in San Antonio for 12 years with the Methodist Healthcare System previous to becoming a PA.
Marc is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society. He sees patients from pediatrics to geriatrics with a special interest in Diabetes and Men’s Health. Marc grew up in the Temple/Troy, Texas area. He is married and enjoys spending his spare time playing tennis and watching his 3 grandchildren play sports.
Emily S. Gonzalez, PA-C
Emily recently joined our clinic in April 2021. She was born and raised in Laredo, Texas and then completed her undergraduate degree in biomedical science with a minor in neuroscience from Texas A&M University in College, Station Texas. She then worked as a medical scribe for an orthopedic group before completing her master's in physician assistant studies at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2020. She is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. Emily's focus is women's health along with management of a variety of chronic conditions. In her spare time, she loves traveling, spending time with her family, friends and her labrador retriever, Dawson.
Cody H. Haines, APRN-CNP
Cody joined Family Medical Center in January 2022. He graduated with his Bachelors of Nursing at Stephen F. Austin in 2015. Cody is a native Georgetown resident and after graduating he returned to Austin, Texas where he worked as an intensive care registered nurse for 7 years prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Cody obtained his Masters of Science at the University of Texas at Arlington in August 2021.
